Hair of Istanbul

Hello, I do not come to devalue this clinic just to tell my experience to other users. A month ago I had a hair graft, the results of the transplanted area are not yet available, but the donor area is a real disaster, they remove a lot of follicular units together from a very concentrated area and I only got 1000UF, the doctor is very little involved in the intervention, they do 3 or 4 interventions daily, so the results they put on social networks are from other nurses who probably will not do it to you, in short.. the only thing I can say is that the hotel is very nice and the treatment was excellent.

Me and my brother’s hair stories started around 2018. I’m one of 3 brothers who have the misfortune of having a BALD Dad 🙂 My first brother decided against going to Turkey – he went to KSL in the UK and paid £6k for 2000 grafts. His work was ok, but for that money, I’d expect better than ok – clearly, he needed more grafts which put us off using a UK company. We thought the UK wasn’t a viable option for us. At that point, my other brother wanted/needed to go but I felt the time wasn’t right for me then so having followed HOI for around 12-18 months on Instagram I said to my Brother Dan that he should choose this company and that when I eventually go for my procedure it will be with HOI also. He went in 2020 to HOI and had his procedure and his results were insane. Everything he had told me about the company was everything I felt I already knew just by getting the information daily through their posts and stories on Instagram. After chatting through WhatsApp I visited HOI in December 2021 together with my best friend and we both had the procedures on the same day. My friend just had a hair transplant whereas I had my head and beard transplanted. I had a total of 6450 grafts – 4800 for my head and 1650 for my beard. The price you are quoted is an all-inclusive price which other than your flight tickets which you will need to book separately, everything else is included (transport, hotel, etc). I cannot stress enough how good and how well taken care of you are in their care. I knew they were good, I didn’t realise they were/are that good! I’m talking about EVERY single member of staff – everyone has a role in making the company a success. From the minute you touch down in the airport you are in their care and any stress or worries are taken away from you. Everything until the moment they drop you back at the airport is perfectly organised which ensures you have the best possible experience. They picked us up from Istanbul airport and we were then taken to our 5* accommodation at the Crowne Plaza Florya. They have a staff member to help out at the hotel who I swear just stays there 24/7. The hotel staff are amazing and very accustomed to having guests who are staying following their procedures. The staff at the hospital/clinic are always amazing. They arrange pick-up and drop-off in a private van each day you are there, and there is always someone to meet and escort you to where you need to go (who can speak your language!). The medical staff are also top-notch; the doctors, nurses, and everyone is truly amazing and very accommodating. Very, very skilled at what they do! The doctors make sure you are extremely comfortable during the procedure – you will be in very capable hands. I promise you this is a PAIN-FREE procedure. This is coming from someone who hates injections and doesn’t have tattoos but I managed 8/9 hours in surgery! So if I can manage it, you can! I could keep going on and even up to this point, I haven’t even discussed our results. We are beyond delighted. They have exceeded our expectations throughout the process. People always thought I was younger than my actual age, because my beard never really grew. I was surprised to hear you can get treated for this. The surgery was painless, but the first week I couldn’t touch or sleep on my face. It has now been 3 months and I finally have an actual beard.

I went for a consultation meeting with one of the doctors of Hair of Istanbul. The doctor quickly tested the state of my scalp and then continued to the next client. The doctor seemed quite stressed and impatient.

Everyone here has been very kind to me. I was always treated very nicely and professionally. I’m very pleased with the results so far, as the hairline looks very good. I’m looking forward to the hair growing back to look like ‘normal hair’, so I’m finally done with this whole procedure.

I’ve been suffering from hair loss for over 2 years now. My girlfriend convinced me to get a hair transplant. I had some bald spots on the front of my head, which they filled up with grafts they took off the back of my head. I’m happy with the results so far (and so is my girlfriend).
