A strip of hair was cut from the back of my head and individual hair follicles were extracted and transplanted on the balding front part of my head. I’m still taking medication for my scalp to completely heal especially the donor area. As for the transplanted zone, you would not believe it if I told you it was almost 100% bald.
My treatment procedure was done very well. The anesthetic was very efficient as it numbed the area under treatment very well. However, I felt so much pain soon after the procedure because they delayed to me give me the painkillers. Everything else was okay.
I saw cancer survivor regrow their hair to a fully covered head. This gave me hope and decided to also get help. The consultation went on very well as the doctor explained everything about the procedure and how long it would take to fully recover.
I almost lost my girlfriend on top of losing my hair a few ago because of the depression it caused me. Hair is a big part of how I look and therefore I felt unattractive and became unpleasant to be around. However, I’m glad I met someone who had a hair transplant years back with amazing results.
