Reviews
Having undergone several painful procedures myself, I have dealt extensively with the topic of hair transplants and can wholeheartedly recommend HLC in Ankara based on my own experience. In a direct comparison of quality and cost, the results there are by far the best I have seen. The focus is clearly on quality over quantity: fewer patients are treated per day, but the work is very precise and skilled. And that’s what it’s all about in the end—the surgical result on your head for the next few decades, not hotel standards, limousine pick-up, or marketing. The atmosphere on site is very informal. You quickly realize that this is not a typical “hair mill,” but a medical practice where they take their time. I am particularly well placed to judge this because I previously had a transplant at the large quantitative market leader in Turkey. There, the quality of the result is basically a matter of chance — depending on which technician is performing the extraction or implantation. In my case, it was unfortunately a disaster: one side was significantly scarred and practically mutilated, the other only moderately dense and unnaturally grown. At HLC, on the other hand, the work was extremely clean, symmetrical, and very natural. The result is on a completely different level in terms of craftsmanship. There are also highly specialized individual surgeons in Europe who offer comparable quality, but at significantly higher prices. If you want to get your bearings, Mr. Kramer’s online consultation in particular provides a very good overview of the different quality levels and concepts. I also found it remarkable that during my stay, there were several patients from the US on site — including from Philadelphia (≈ 8,500 km away) and California (≈ 11,000–12,000 km away) — who had traveled there specifically for treatment. In my opinion, mixed reviews are more a sign of quality than a flaw: a landscape of consistently perfect reviews seems unrealistic, while differentiated testimonials are more credible. My personal impression is that negative reviews of large mass providers are more often challenged legally, which means they often disappear again. My conclusion: if you want a hair transplant, you shouldn’t pay attention to luxury packages, influencer advertising, or chauffeur services—but rather to surgical skill. That’s where the difference lies.
7 months ago I did a hair transplant procedure at HLC Hair Transplant Clinic in Ankara, and I must say that I am extremely pleased with the results. The final outcome, including the new hairline, is truly remarkable and has exceeded my expectations. However, there were a few aspects of my experience that left room for improvement. Let’s start with the positives. The most important aspect of any hair transplant is the final outcome, and in this regard, HLC Hair Transplant Clinic excels. The results are nothing short of impressive, and I couldn’t be happier with my new hairline. The transplant procedure has significantly improved my appearance and boosted my confidence. The expertise of the medical staff is evident in the natural and aesthetically pleasing results they have achieved. However, I have to mention that the procedure itself felt somewhat rushed. It seemed like there was a sense of urgency to complete the transplant quickly, which made me slightly uncomfortable. I would have appreciated a more relaxed and unhurried approach during the surgery, as it is a significant and life-changing procedure. A more thorough and detailed explanation of the steps involved would have also been beneficial. Another area that needs improvement is the post-procedure care provided by the clinic. Unfortunately, the aftercare support was not as comprehensive as I had hoped. There was a lack of detailed instructions or guidance on how to take care of the transplanted area in the days and weeks following the procedure. This left me feeling somewhat uncertain about the appropriate aftercare routine. A more proactive and hands-on approach from the clinic in ensuring the well-being of their patients post-procedure would have been greatly appreciated. Despite these minor shortcomings, the outstanding final results overshadow the issues encountered during the process. The HLC Hair Transplant Clinic in Ankara has proven itself to be capable of delivering remarkable hair transplant outcomes. The skill and expertise of the medical staff are undeniable, and the new hairline has made a significant positive impact on my life.
The excellent consultation led me to a bad procedure. I hated it and felt the place was dirty. I had a hair transplant procedure where the donor’s hair was taken from the back of my head using the FUE method, to cover the front sides and crown area where I lost my hair.
Wow, this is what I call perfect. This consultation was flawless. I had an online consultation knowing they were very good, but they overdid themselves. I am talking about HLC Clinic for sure.
As long as the hair transplant operation was a success, and the results are what I desire, I will not stress the issue of the bad consultation, and the not-so-good aftercare. The important thing is that the hairline aesthetic and design are perfect and the density is excellent.
I heard about this clinic from many places and saw the ads on social media. That encouraged me to take an appointment for a consultation for hair treatment. The consultation was very good. The staff is professional and welcoming. The info is more than enough.
This place makes me feel at home. They work so hard o make us feel welcome and fulfill all our demands and wants. The staff are so good. They welcome you, help, consult, and always with a smiling face.
A friend of mine suggested HLC Clinic for a hair transplant procedure, so I went there and had it done. I was losing hair fast from both the front sides of my head and from the crown area. So I had the donor hair from the back of the head and transplanted it in the needed area. The procedure was excellent, and the results are good.
