Reviews
As a cancer survivor, I had lost almost all of my hair due to the chemotherapy so I had to always shave my hair. I’m just grateful now that I am past that phase alive and now want to see what options are available for me to regrow my hair. The consultation at the clinic was very eye-opening and so now I am waiting for my back hair to grow which will be used to transplant on the bald area.
A hair transplant was imminent for me. I had no choice after having lost significant hair and it was eating up my self-esteem, especially at work. The procedure went on very well. I’m really excited about the results.
Having grown up with good and healthy hair, I viewed balding as a serious disfigurement and that was affecting my self-image in a very bad way. I sought help and although the consultation itself left a lot to be desired, I decided to go ahead with the transplant. Overall, the procedure was good and I am happy with the results.
I’m not sure if it was me failing to comprehend what the doctor was explaining to me or if it was the doctor struggling to demystify for me the hair transplant procedure. I am not yet clear on which procedure is best for me, therefore I think I will have to seek a second opinion.
People could not understand how I looked like a forty-year-old man in my late twenties. I have a genetic condition that of late makes my hair thin out and eventually fall off. The surgeon helped me understand this condition and its effects on a bit deeper level and unfortunately I will not be able to undergo a hair transplant. I’m very thankful I got to know this at this stage and will be using a wig for now.
